They are emitted from man made materials such as paint, carpet, vinyl tile,, paper goods, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. Some VOC gases include Formaldehyde, Benzene, Xylene, Trichlorothylene, and Toluene. These compounds can cause liver damage, asthma, leukemia, and other cancers.
